2GO Travel Starts Manila–Siargao Sea Link This November 2025

2GO Travel officially announced through its Facebook page and website that beginning November 10, 2025, it will start servicing the Manila–Siargao–Butuan–Ozamiz–Manila route. The new voyage marks the company’s first direct service connecting Manila to Siargao by sea.

A New Sea Route to Siargao

The new route gives travelers another option to reach Siargao without taking a flight. 2GO Travel will now call the port of Siargao, linking it directly to Manila and nearby Mindanao destinations such as Butuan and Ozamiz. This expansion aims to strengthen inter-island access for both tourists and local traders.

The service will use one of 2GO’s large passenger vessels designed to carry both travelers and rolling cargo. It forms part of the company’s broader goal to expand sea connectivity across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Better Access for Locals and Visitors

The new sea link is expected to make travel to Siargao more accessible for domestic tourists while helping ease air traffic at Sayak Airport. It also supports local commerce by providing a new channel for goods and supplies moving across islands.

2GO Travel’s expansion aligns with the ongoing recovery of Siargao’s tourism and economy. It offers travelers a more flexible and affordable way to experience the island, especially for those who prefer long voyages over flights.
